How to Clear Complete Web History of Internet Explorer

Internet Explorer one of the most used one browser in whole over the world. Most of IE users have cleared history but then also some previously visited websites still shows in address bar of IE browser. If you have also same problem then solution for that are as below :
IE history, Remove Internet history, Internet explorer

Clear Visited Website History in Internet Explorer (IE)

Latest versions of IE such as IE 7 or IE 8 having smart address bar features which show list of all matching results that are in your browser’s history cache while you type some words in address bar. This auto suggest address bar of IE new version is huge time saver, but as per the privacy point it's not so good one as well especially when you share the same computer with other family members.

As you don't want that your family member can see what you search on Google and other websites you have visited, Microsoft added a handy "Delete Browsing History" in Internet Explorer which completely erase whole history in single click.

Why IE Won't Delete My Web Browser History ?

After suggested above solution still your IE history and your Temporary Internet files folder not get clear and still shows previously visited website in address bar. This type of problem not only face by you but many of IE users getting this type of problem. Microsoft forums are filled with similar complaints from IE users. Some of that complaints are as shown below :
In answer of these complaint Microsoft engineer suggested to running Windows after a “clean boot” that will load Windows with a minimal set of drivers and startup programs so that you can know if another background program is preventing IE from deleting the browser’s history and cache.

So IE address bar is integrated with Windows Desktop search by default even if you clear IE web history then also web history stored in Windows search index will be show up in address bar. These entries appear in the same "History" group and hence users (myself included) confuse it with IE’s history.

For preventing web history items Windows Search from completely showing up in the IE address bar, use Tools > Internet Options > Content > AutoComplete and delete the option that says "Use Windows Search for better results".windows search in internet explorer
