Quickly Switch Between Bing and Google from Address Bar

Switch Between Bing and Google from Address BarSometimes you are searching something on Google search engine but you not get that information on Google search engine and you temporally switch to search Bing search engine & perform same search on Bing search engine.

So you might be thinking for how you can quickly search the same which you searched in Google search engine to Bing search engine ? How do you quickly switch between these two search engines?

Mostly users are using Mozila Firefox. And they can hit Ctrl+ K fol highlight the search box and after selecting text in search box press Ctrl + up (Up Arrow) and Ctrl + down (Down Arrow) for switching the search engines. These all shortcuts run in all browsers except Internet Explorer (IE). For IE you have to press Ctrl + E for reading the search box. And Google Chrome doesn’t have a dedicated search box but Google Chrome extensions to help you change search engines.

Switching Between Bing and Google

Suposse you are search for "Barak Obama" on Google.com and due to some what less information you want to this search in Bing.com. Just go to your browser’s address bar (it could be any browser) and change the word “google” in the search URL to “bing” and hit Enter. And similarly you can use it vice-versa from "bing" to "google".

Safari users may find this trick especially handy since in Safari, you can’t really add a new search provider to the existing ones without using external plugins.

On your mobile phone browser you have to go by writing as Google’s mobile URLs are of the form google.com/m while Bing’s mobile edition uses the m.bing.com structure.
