Internet Speed Test Tool Released By US FCCUS federal commission of communication had launched broadband test service tool for helping consumers on Thursday. This tool for consumers been located on www.broadband.gov which allows to clock the speed of their Internet connection so that FCC can compare findings with ISP speed claims.

FCC Chairman Julius Genachowski said, "The FCC's new digital tools will arm users with real-time information about their broadband connection and the agency with useful data about service across the country" . And with that he added, "These tool be help to eliminate confusion and make market work very easily and effectively".

According to Returns News, the new digital tools follow an earlier FCC meeting back in September 2009. The FCC said that despite ISP claims, actual Internet speeds were estimated to lag as much as 50-percent during busy hours.

With that FCC's website provide great help for consumers for report that they haven't broadband access in their area.
