iPad Takes Download Place at the Apple Website

Latest change is Apple Website due to Apple's ne product iPad be shown as below screen shot :

Snap Shot of Apple.com (post ipad)These both pre iPad and post iPad version of the Apple website is almost same but one minor change is done in it.

There is the Software download section on pre iPad version of Apple website which one is replaced by iPad in post iPad Apple website. Apple users still use the download section using this original location - apple.com/downloads.

Do you people know why this changes on Apple website is done ? According to me it was more of a design limitation for Apple they couldn’t fit any more items in the current version of the menu bar and the iPad was too important a device to be left out of the main navigation.
